And Back He Goes...

Well it's that time of year again, the autumn term begins at the various academic institutions around this country, and with that my brother returns to his degree in the sunny town of Colchester....

Apart from the obvious sadness of not having him about to go out with, watch stuff, and generally have a laugh; this year I also have to deal with the loss of this computer - which is his: hence it's going back with him... ARGH!!

As my computer(s) are languishing in various states of disrepair (ie. can't afford to fix them), this means I will be very short on computer, and therefore net, access for the forseeable future. Bugger.

And just in time, my new Canon 300d arrived today!! Hooray!!!!!!

However, digital cameras without computers have restricted use, so I'm going to have to fix something.

Anyhow, the upshot of this is that I will be posting/commenting only sporadically for awhile. Depends when I can beg, borrow, or steal net access from mates...

Might be lucky and get one straight away, might not be online at all till Christmas - all down to luck, oh great.

  • Better to waste it than to use it for ill.

However, you are ofcourse right - I must get a job eventually.

  • Hmm, the likelihood of a doner for me is somewhat low, however if there are any nice women who fancy a loyal househusband, not much good at anything other than cooking and talking, to come home too - I'll consider offers. ;)

  • I like having my brother about, although it is sometimes convenient to have the extra free time and sole custody of his room and mine. It's useful to have my own living room. :)

But he'll be back before I know it, when you live life as a waster, time flies past awfully quickly.

  • Sun tan and me don't get on either, I've always been a bit of a troglodyte, so much so that I can't see well in natural light anymore, LOL. Though I have 20-20 vision indoors.... Just overly light sensitive. Must've been a vampire in a past life.

  • Well yes, darker skin copes much better with intense sunlight. But we all need the sun, otherwise we won't create much vitamin D and we'd be screwed.

If you've got white skin, your natural area obviously has less light, so more sunlight needs to penetrate - therefore less protection.

  • I don't believe one's colour effects one's beauty. Unless it looks out of place, or fake. Trying to be something you're not is rarely attractive.

So if you're pale, stay pale, if you're not, likewise.

I don't hold with people who think they need to sit under sunbeds, risking skin cancer to change their appearence, or worse, covering themselves in spray-on tan. Yuck......

Econometrics should be assessed via coursework, it's too fiddly to do in exams. I only got 55% on my final exam in that subject... But I knew it well enough.

  • Yeah, I'm fine. Lack of posting due to very rare use of computers at the moment.

I'll post something if I get the opportunity, and have something interesting (to me) to say. LOL
