Beaker-Boo!

Beaker Boo!

Now, I've been meaning to post these pictures since Christmas.

My lovely new Beaker toy, isn't it brilliant!!! :D

Reclining Beaker

My brother's girlfriend Carrie got it for me, so she's officially fantastic.

What was really amazing was that I got my brother a Beaker action figure - Super Beaker! [Sitting on Big Beaker's lap below.] I reckon it's my Beaker's official stunt-double. Though what I got him wasn't as cool as the big soft toy. It's sleeping in my bed now, on my other pillow.

Plus I just ordered a Bunsen from Arizona to keep him company. Not that Beaker probably wants Bunsen to catch-up with him, he might start experimenting again....

[Links are QuickTime BTW, might be best to save them.]

  • Woo Hoo! You've posted! And might I add the word finally here ...

Beeker was always one of my favorites ... But I remain true to Fozzie Bear ... A wacka wacka wacka ...

Someday you're going to have to tell me all about your collection, as I'm guessing it must be pretty extensive.

  • Agreed, Stacey. I think he just needs to take pics of all his figures and post them as archives or something with a link to them on his sidebar.
Hmmm, the bigger Beaker (does he talk) is more cuddley but the action figure is cooler. :)
Nice to see you posting again.

  • I do have a life, sorta, well a little bit.... alright I don't. But that's better than having a cack one without any nice toys. :p

There are rather a lot of them about, although most are in storage, as my house can only support so many active creatures. Must get more though.... You can never have enough fluffy things.

I'll try and post more regularly, keep you happy. :)

  • You don't know Beaker! :O

Beaker is one of the Muppets, regularly seen on The Muppet Show, Muppet Babies and various Muppet Movies. Always with his friend/boss Bunsen, they are scientists. Or rather Bunsen is a mad scientist, and Beaker is his assistant [guinea pig].

You should definitely watch Muppets, well worth doing so.

  • You should update more regularly.
My PC took ages opening the first picture and while it was still all blurred I got a bit nervous.
I am suprised you have space for more stuffed creatures though ;)

  • There is always more space, just requires ingenious new approaches to stacking. Oh, and an alternative view of what constitues 'available space'. ;)

Got a new amazing turtle called 'Slowpoke', two days ago. Wonderful.

  • OK, OK, OK.... ;)

Just had an amazingly thought provoking exchange with a friend, and it generated some getting-to-know you lists which I think are post-worthy. :)

Will get them on in a moment.

  • i once almost-dated a guy who looked just like BEEKER. i kept telling him about the muppet look-a-like and he had no idea what the hell i was talking about nor did he share the same kind of muppet humor with me. i never did say yes to a date with him. still BEEKER is my favorite muppet of all time. thanks for the pictures. inky

  • If someone didn't know who Beaker was, I'd have trouble relating to them. Muppets are a way of life. Perhaps...

Mind you, if someone looked just like Beaker, I'd be tempted to go out with them! LOL

  • No, it's a Muppet. Far superior. :)
