Natural Coupling

Ah, a fellow orangutan sits here on my chair, along with his partner.

Natural Coupling

Now this is the way I want to be at some point in the future, just as lucky as my little orangutan. So it would seem I need to find a hedgehog for a partner.

This could be tricky.

  • The orangutan is a plush toy from my favourite animal designer, Lou Rankin. The model is called "Clyde the Orangutan". I managed to get mine from eBay, via a US seller. It only cost me $11, plus $11 airmail to the UK. So well worth searching for. Just search for "lou rankin", there was at least one clyde available just now when I searched. All that range are wonderful, lovely and soft and lifelike.

That's a good MSN name Mel, definitely words of wisdom there. I always have lyrics for my name, currently it's set to: "Karl : You can't hold back the morning or hide away the light. Who will blow the candle out tonight?" - I always prefix with my name as a matter of curteousy. ;)

This house and it's furniture remains reasonably old fashioned. The house is 122 years old this year, so modern stuff would look wrong. :)

Wombles, now why didn't I think of that... Alderney was a girl... and she lived in a tree!! ....must go to wimbledon common asap...

  • Well I can imagine a monkey randomly running around the town being a tad scary. Especially if said monkey wasn't actually a monkey, but an ape, like the orangutan. They're bigguns. :)

Mind you, I dare say any orangutan that came near me wouldn't realise I wasn't one of it's own, and proceed to either attack me, offer me some fruit, or molest me. Depending on it's mood. [Bonus prizes for working out what red dwarf quote I just paraodied... I'll stop being sad now, maybe.]

Your sister is very lucky miss mae, it is a wonderfully cuddly beautiful person. My bed used to be overflowing with my little fluffy friends, but it's reduced to just the one for the moment. Although the surrounding vacinity is thus very densely inhabited. :$

As I'm something not too dissimilar to the orangutan though, I can't recommend sleeping with your sisters one. Liable to cause rifts that is....
